Areca ARC-1120 PCI-X 8-port SATA II RAID Controller
The
ARC-1120 SATA II RAID Controller is a high performance PCI-X bus to SATA
Disk Array host adapter. SATA II technology improves data transmission
through a point-to-point topology, which eliminates bus sharing thereby
delivering a full 3Gb/s bandwidth to each drive. When properly configured,
the SATA host adapter can provide non-stop service with a high degree of
fault tolerance through the use of RAID technology and advanced array
management features. The Serial ATA RAID Host adapter is low-profile, ideal
for rackmount systems. The ARC-1100 series uses the same RAID kernel of its
field-proven external RAID controllers.
