Tekram is the no.
1 to delivery Intel RAID 6 inside product in the market.
The TR-822 is a perfect
solution for a PCI to Serial ATA controller. It includes two independent
Serial ATA channels. Each channel has its own Serial ATA bus and will
support one Serial ATA device. The TR-822 supports a 32-bit 66 MHz PCI
bus and the Serial ATA Generation 1 transfer rate of 1.5 Gb/s (150
MB/s).
Serial ATA (SATA) is the latest generation of the ATA
interface. SATA hard drives deliver blistering transfer speeds of up to
150MB/sec. Serial ATA uses long, thin cables, making it easier to
connect your drive and improving the airflow inside your PC.
Any system (IBM or Compatible PC) with a PCI bus
interface can simply add the Serial ATA interface by adding our TR-822
and loading the driver into the system. |
