NS388S 2U 24 bay 12G SAS JBOD Chassis Expander Product Description

Netstor NS388S supports fast SSDs or 2.5-inch high-reliable HDDs, providing storage capacity up to 24 drives per unit. The 12Gb/s storage ideally meets enterprises' budget plan for data storage and growth; as business and enterprises require more capacity for data archiving during NS388S employment, expansion is reached effortlessly through cascading next Netstor 12Gbps SAS Expander series for a maximum of up to 256 drives capacity. In addition to the easy data growing characteristic, the NS388S supports LSI DataBolt™ technology for transmission: when 6Gbps SAS/SATA drives are used, the system can aggregate 6G/3Gbps data and transfer it at 12Gb/s speed, delivering up to a double increase in throughput performance.

Due to 12Gb/s NS388S's support of SES-2 protocol, users can monitor enclosure temperature and fans of all components via web GUI when RAID card with SES-2 function is utilized. All the management and configuration to NS388S can be achieved simply and conveniently through the dedicated Command Line Interface. Furthermore, the 2U 24-drive storage is whole modular and cable-less design covering SAS Expander, fans, and power supply unit. Owing to the easy maintenance feature of unit modularizing, the enclosure applies exactly to the present-day professional and business applications. Also, the Netstor NS388S is certified with Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2, which is fully compatible with server operating system and providing higher security, better management efficiency and complete data backup.
